Kids' Club
The Kids' Club is the first level of involvement after a child is interviewed and enrolled into the Big Brothers Big Sisters Program. Each child receives a membership card as well as our Little News activity flyers. We encourage members of the Kids’ Club to come to as many activities as they can so we can get to know them better and provide a great mentor when one becomes available.
We recruit and screen Kids’ Club volunteers to provide transportation and supervision for members to participate in our agency sponsored activities-- it's like being a Big Brother or Big Sister for a day. There are many fun activities throughout the year such as fishing trips, back-to-school and holiday parties and more, and all events are staff supervised. You don’t have to go to all of the activities, just as many as you're able to.
Volunteers apply and are interviewed by our casework staff. Volunteers must be 19 years old and we ask for a six-month commitment.
