This mentoring relationship is
similar to the one-to-one relationship. However, this matches a Little Brother with a married couple. The couple picks
the child up at his home and shares an activity with the child.
We ask for a commitment of a few hours in one day together weekly or
bi-weekly for a minimum of one year. The couple has the option to see the
child together or, on occasion, one adult might meet with the child.
Volunteers must be at least 21 years old, live in Monmouth County and have a valid New Jersey driver’s
license. There are no financial obligations or requirements. Part of the
intake process includes a criminal and DMV background check.
The children live in Monmouth County, are between the
ages of 6 and 14, primarily live in a one parent home and are in need of a
positive adult role model and friend.
