Full-Time Case Worker

We need a team player to assist
in changing the lives of children.

General Function: Under the supervision of the
Director of Programs, the case worker is responsible for:

• Assessing volunteers as to their appropriateness in performing one-to-one mentoring service to children. This is based on office and home interviews, references and background checks.
• Interviewing the child and parent to assess the child’s readiness to participate in a community based mentoring program.
• Assisting in making matches of the volunteer and child based upon mutual interests, compatibility and safety.
• Providing ongoing match support.
• Performing other duties as assigned to support matches.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• BA/BS required in the field of human services or education.
• Two years experience required (can include related internships).
• Strong communication, customer service, time management and organizational skills are essential.
• Bi-lingual English/Spanish preferred

Salary:  $30,000 + benefits
